Yesterday, my Children's Father ~passed away~.
While most of us are looking forward to a Merry Christmas...my babies are planning their Father's funeral.

I will forever be grateful to him...
He gave me.....the only Christmas present that I will ever want or need.

To be Thankful and grateful for the Blessings in our lives....... To Remember~the "true" meaning of CHRISTmas...... To celebrate.....the things that make us smile(like vintage Christmas decor~lol)

Wishing everyone a lovely Holiday Season.....with very little stress.

It is ok that I still am hanging on to 5 lbs and that I have done very little Christmas shopping.....and there are NO presents underneath the tree,yet......!
and I am turning 40 on Saturday :) and I do not intend to bake this year.....well, I never really bake anyway~lol

This year it is all about enjoying the small things in life.....the things that do not cost anything.. like spending TIME...with those we love.

I believe in Angels.......

The Christmas frenzy has begun.....I have not even started my Christmas shopping!

Thanksgiving was wonderful and my daughters 21st B~day was great too......Christmas tree decorating has actually been quite fun this year(pics later).

Next on the list is my annual..... "Christmas PJ party" for my daycare kids. This Saturday....the house will be lit and ready for the children to arrive in their Pjs......Parents can then have a few hours to themselves to Christmas shop or have a date night. It is always a treat for the little ones...Santa even visits!

The next big event before Christmas is my B~day. 9 more days until the big 40!!!! I am still struggling with this last 5 lbs. It seems like the last month...I am stuck on a number. I have to admit my eating has been sporadic. I will blame it on Turkey day~LOL
I am not so sure the 5lbs will be gone before my B~day but I am shooting for it anyway.

With all of the frenzy.....I found a few hours to create. I finished my doll for the doll swap...(will post bout it later) and even created my own little doll. I purchased a shabby little storybook doll for $5 and I knew I wanted to make her into a sweet little Angel.

I forgot to take a before shot of her......here are a few pics of some of the things I used for her make over.Her old dress and tattered wig

I stole this poor gals outfit......and her wig too!
I had to cut the outfit to fit and since I do not sew...I went glue gun crazy.

I borrowed a few baubles from this butterfly......not the wings....I stole the wings off another Angel,that hangs on my Victorian tree.
I love how she turned out......I have a tiny baby doll that I am going to wrap in cheese cloth and he will be my baby Jesus :)
