Happy Monday, friends & family........
I am looking forward to my vacation~just have to make it through this week. I will be visiting my daughter for the 4th of July........and we are finally going to the Alameda flea market(last time it was completely rained out).

The rest of my vacation will be a STAYCATION...spending time at home and getting some small home improvements done. I have been having a love/hate relationship with my home lately.

I do not even remember it like this!!!! I moved it so people would not walk in front of the couch and chair. It did not look too bad..wish I still had that tea cart!!!

I can't seem to get it completely in order(we have been here 8 years!) I think because I work from home.....my home is not my sanctuary.
My home daycare has so many wonderful advantages but at the same time.....it is mentally exhausting and keeps me a bit isolated from the outside world during the day.

I do love this little fountain that flows into our pool

Next week..my plan is to fall in love with my house again. She has qualities that make her special(even if she is a tract home). Vintage decor fits the personality of my home and mine too :). So today....I will reflect on what really makes a house a home.

Happy Father's Day to all the special Dad's out there.....My dad is sleeping with the Angel's~Happy Father's day...Dad!

This little gal has been bored lately......
This gal is in the shop getting fixed......Oh My.....$$$$ and she will need another new paint job!!!!!
This guy...went to Prom,had his heart broken (but survived),Buzzed his hair and graduated from high School.
This gal....finished her sophomore year of college,found a new apt(that she loves),and cut her hair in a very stylish, short cut.
This gal...found a new home.....had to sell her to help pay for the repairs on the Fireball.
The young couple who bought her will give her a great home. I really loved that her new Mom(petite little thing) is going to pull her on her own!!!! She is a lot braver then me. I wish them many years of camping happiness.

As for me......I am taking a deep breath,exhaling, and hoping for a great Summer :)

This is us headed for home on Sunday......I have tons of pics from the rally that I want to share but I had to share our story first......never a dull moment with us...last trip to the beach......our luggage fell off the top and was all over the highway......items were on the highway this time too...but it was not our luggage!!!!!

OOps.....our window blew out......3rd time on this window.....come to find out...it was only siliconed in...it is missing the bracket that actually holds the glass in place.

OMG.....WHERE IS OUR TRAILER DOOOR!!!!!! Oh yes friends...this happened just outside of Paso Robles......Thank goodness there were no accidents......we did not hit anything......the force of the window blowing...all the wind....50 mile an hour speed......caused to much pressure in the cabin..and POOF....there she blows!!!!! At least that is all we can figure......

So forgive me for not showing all the other cool trailers yet......our top priority is to somehow get our trailer back to Fresno.

She is sittting in a tow yard(Paso Robles) for the price of $55 a day...we only pay $38 to store her all month, in Clovis!

Look...hubby found some parts..looks like our door...BOO HOO!!!!! 

Lucy and Dezi...we have you beat on misadventures in a trailer......we were locked in our first night...then we dropped our keys(out the door window) and we had to call for our neighbor trailerites to let us out!!

We followed the tow truck...(we just kept her hitched to us)an hour drive back to Paso Robles..we took the back roads~ and the LONG way to prevent any accidents..in case more parts started flying...there is also a large tear and some of the back off too. Betty..I did not lose one curtain and all my pillows were there too...go figure?!

Now..I need to recover....and try to figure out how we are going to fix this......oh we have some money set aside.....Hubby informed me that he wanted to surprise me on my 4oth.....with a trip to Paris and Sicily.....he has been saving!!! Whats a girl to do???? Vintage trailer or Paris?

My son had his first prom a few weeks ago...next is his Graduation,... in June!!!

There was no way that she would go around the pool fence, so I could put her under a covered area that I have(used to have a jacuzzi there) so......she is close to the fence by the street...next to our arbor and rose garden. Yes...the grass may die but as you can see... my Golden Retriever is killing the grass with his urine too. My plan is to make a SECRET GARDEN behind her :)

I did not go out and buy anything for her....our $ is going into the travel trailer......Just used a few things that I already have for now.

I will do the little garden soon...and then spruce her up a bit.

My neighbors think we are NUTS!!!! Do you? My step-daughter said she is never bringing her friends in the back yard.....If I knew I could keep friends away...I would have done this sooner~LOL

I have a vision.....maybe not the same as most of my Suburban neighbors.....they have fifth wheels.. I have 2 Vintage trailers....Just living...."My American Dream"
